As we approach the end of another year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve embarked upon together with the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. The film industry has faced unprecedented challenges this year, and the financial hardships that many individuals in our community have experienced are significant.
It is through your unwavering support and dedication that we have been able to provide financial assistance to those in need, fund critical pulmonary research across the country and provide life-saving equipment to premature babies in need.
Our achievements in 2023 have been nothing short of remarkable:
Served 735 industry members in need for things such as housing, medical and natural disaster
2000+ views on the expanded INNERMISSION webinar monthly series
Provided Brave Beginnings with grants to 7 hospitals
Earned a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator
Social workers spent nearly 2,000 hours with clients on advocacy counseling and budgeting assistance.
Funded 5 pulmonary research fellowships and 2 laboratories at prestigious universities.
17,000+ impressions on YouTube
These achievements are a testament to the power of our collective efforts. We couldn’t have done it without the support of compassionate individuals like you.

ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
The Pioneers Assistance Fund provides financial aid and supportive counseling to individuals who work in theatrical exhibition, distribution and vendors exclusive to either sector, who are encountering an illness, accident or injury. A team of social workers confidentially assesses the needs and financial difficulties of motion picture industry members and provides aid to support health and well-being when income and assets are limited.
